This listing is for a lovely Alvin Sterling Silver 10" deep fruit bowl # D 1003. No monogram. Bowl has a deep body with a small embossed band around the shoulder area and a wider decorative band around the outer border. Bowl is marked "Alvin, Sterling, D 1003". The Alvin Company of Providence RI began business in 1886 and is currently a division of Gorham.
Measures 2" high and 10" in diameter. Weighs 335 grams.
Bowl is in very good to excellent condition with minimal signs of normal wear. There is one very faint raised spot above inner decorative band and a very faint no-harm ding just below this and another near the inner ring of the base. Each of these tiny flaws are very faint and are barely noticeable.
