Sun Odyssey 32
Jeanneau, which has built excellent boats since 1950s, has designed a comfortable, stable cruiser, which is ideal for a couple or small family, the Sun Odyssey 32. This sailing yacht offers a lot of living space- above and below the decks-in 32 feet, combining luxury with innovative construction techniques.
The Sun Odyssey 32 can be easily managed by two people thanks to her size and light weight. She has a good reputation as for her speed, safety and stability. The side decks are wide, the cockpit layout works well and steering is easy from both standing and sitting positions, as visibility is excellent, too.
She offers a main salon, a toilet/shower room with hot water and two cosy cabins, each of them having a double berth. Four berths plus the saloon seats, which are convertible to berths, could accommodate 6 people, although we only recommend saloon seats for the younger members of the family.
The cabins are really functional. The aft cabin has a locker and a comfortable berth and the forward cabin has a slightly smaller berth but more headroom and excellent ventilation and lighting.
The saloon has much headroom, two comfortable settees that double as berths, multiple storage cabinets, and several opening ports and hatches that provide excellent light and ventilation. The aft-facing nav station is fine for cruising. The galley is really spacious and includes a sink, top-entry fridge, twin-burner cooker with grill and plenty of storage both behind the worktop, cooker and below the sink.
Sun Odyssey 32 appeals to anyone, looking for a stylish, speedy and enjoyable cruiser with comfortable accommodations and in an affordable price.
